Would you sign up for 10 years of training to go on a one-way trip to Mars?

In a recent article, BBC science journalist Richard Hollingham informs that 200,000 people from all over the world have applied to embark on a one-way trip to Mars. In this effort led by Mars One, candidates will have to endure 10 years of training focused on physical health, knowledge, group challenges and isolation – but only if selected. Mars One’s chief medical officer, Norbert Kraft, is looking for the perfect team of people.  Still, it is likely that no one from this original candidate group will actually qualify for the trip to Mars.

So, you still have a chance — 10 years of training for a one-way trip to Mars. Think about it.
