The vast majority of young people ages 18-34 will witness a man or woman stepping foot on Mars. This generation is the Mars Generation. They were too young to witness man’s walk on the Moon, but came of age when space travel to the space station was routine. Their lives are defined by networks – social and physical. They are always connected. The Mars Generation is not cynical, however. They are optimistic, hopeful and global in their thinking.
