Comprehensive business strategy and communications training will help employees develop knowledge, skills, confidence
AUSTIN, Texas – Oct. 18, 2013 – Phillips & Company, a global communications firm that helps clients create, defend and sustain leadership positions through public relations and market development, today announced the launch of the Phillips & Company Leadership Academy, an in-depth continuing education curriculum for employees.
Phillips & Company President Rich Phillips envisions the Leadership Academy as a tool for accelerating leadership from within the company. “At Phillips, our team works together to help our clients identify and capture leadership opportunities. We help clients create demand for products and services and establish trust with their customers, partners and investors. The Leadership Academy is an opportunity to do the same for our people within the company and develop world-class talent,” Phillips said.
The Leadership Academy benefits employees by providing high quality education tracks in public relations, market development, management, leadership and technology. An internal team comprising members from senior management, organization development and creative teams partnered and consulted with training experts across the nation to determine and create Leadership Academy curricula and format. Program participants will be required to complete all required 3-hour courses to reach the next advancement program level. The 30-course program will be taught by managers and executive-level employees, as well as community business leaders serving as guest instructors.
“We want to help our employees become the kind of leaders that influence people, with integrity and trust, and have a lasting and positive impact on the people in their lives, in our company, and for our clients,” Phillips said. “The Academy is an investment in our team and a benefit of employment at Phillips & Company.”
